Project Background
The Foton W1 White Body Welding Line Project, constructed by Zhengzhou Duoyuan Vehicle Equipment Co., Ltd., is a highly efficient and intelligent welding production line. This project encompasses several key components including the underbody line, main body welding line, overhead transfer system, sub-assembly lines, robot systems, and electrical control systems. The primary objective is to enhance production efficiency and product quality while meeting the demands of multi-variety mixed production.


Project Details
Main Body Welding Line
The main body welding line consists of two primary lines with a total of 24 workstations, specifically divided into:Underbody Assembly Line (UB Line): 14 workstations,Main Body Assembly Line (MB Line): 10 workstations.The transfer of workpieces between workstations utilizes a roller bed and skid conveyance system. Manual workstations use integrated manual welding guns for welding, while automated robot workstations employ a combination of manual loading, robotic part handling, and welding to ensure efficient and precise welding operations.
Overhead Transfer System
The overhead transfer system facilitates the transfer of underbodies between main lines and the automated conveyance of white bodies from the welding line to the WBS storage area. This system not only improves transfer efficiency but also reduces the risks associated with manual operations.
Sub-Assembly Lines
The sub-assembly lines include the front frame line, rear frame line, front floor line, side panel line, rear roof panel line, and door panel line. The transfer of materials between workstations on the front and rear frame lines is carried out using electric hoists, ensuring the safety and stability of material flow.
Robot Applications
In terms of robot applications, we integrate offline programming technology and a robot simulation system, allowing engineers to program and debug robots in an offline environment. This approach minimizes downtime on the actual production line, enhancing production efficiency. Programming and debugging in the simulation system can more accurately mimic the real production environment, avoiding potential errors and risks during actual operations, and ensuring the production line operates efficiently, safely, and reliably.
