The welding line for dump trucks is located in Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, and is dedicated to the welding of dump truck compartments. The line consists of side panel welding line, floor welding line, front and rear panel welding line, subframe welding line and box assembly line. The production line adopts an electric conveying system to achieve automatic conveying, reduce the use of cranes, and improve production efficiency.

Main equipment and technology
- Welding workstation: Front and rear plate welding workstation: equipped with two arc welding robots. Left and right side plate welding workstation: equipped with four arc welding robots. These workstations all use the robot welding system independently developed by DUOYUAN, which is easy to operate. One ordinary worker can replace multiple professional welders, thereby reducing labor costs.
- Welding system: The system adopts advanced technologies such as laser positioning and offline programming. The laser positioning system has functions such as automatic planning of welding trajectory, tracking system, automatic anti-collision, arc pit filling, sample weld, fault self-diagnosis, and full digital welding process control. The offline programming system runs in a three-dimensional graphics environment with a friendly interface and convenient operation. The welding trajectory is generated through “virtual teaching” or CAD graphic files, which greatly improves programming efficiency and reduces the labor intensity of programmers.
- Box assembly line: The large box assembly welding equipment adopts inverted loading and positioning, which is convenient for workers to operate and automatic transportation. The equipment is designed with CNC parameters, supports vehicle model parameter storage and automatic adjustment, can store data for 500 vehicle models, and the vehicle model change time is less than 5 minutes.


The dump truck welding line project has significantly improved production efficiency and product quality and reduced labor costs through advanced automation and intelligent technologies. It has the characteristics of high precision and high flexibility and is an important part of modern dump truck production.
