Zhongtong Bus Holdings Co., Ltd. is set to implement a technical transformation project for the large VAN model production line at its light-duty vehicle manufacturing plant. This project aims to produce 5.5-meter and 5.9-meter medium-roof large VAN models, including fuel, electric, and logistics versions, with provisions for high-roof models on the same line. The goal is to meet the mass production demand for large VAN models.

Multi-Model Production Line

Advanced Equipment and Processes
– Provides mature welding processes and advanced, reliable equipment to ensure efficient operation and high product quality.
– The production line includes side panel sub-assembly lines, floor sub-assembly lines, chassis and floor lines, main line, and adjustment line, comprehensively covering the production process.
Efficient Production Layout
– Strictly implemented according to the body layout scheme provided by Zhongtong, ensuring rational and efficient production line layout.
– The layout includes 11 UB&MB line stations, 4 left and right side panel assembly line stations each, 29 sub-assemblies, and 13 stations for in-line transportation and adjustment.
Flexible Transmission System
– Side panel area transmission between stations is achieved by jigs and manual reciprocating rods, with sub-assembly off-line using dual-track linear reciprocating jigs.
– Chassis and floor area transmission between stations is achieved by jigs + automatic reciprocating rods, with other small sub-assemblies using electric hoists with jigs for lifting.
– Main welding area transmission between stations is by automatic reciprocating rods, with manual loading for floor frames and roof areas. After welding, jigs unload, and the roof is transferred to the main line using electric hoists + vacuum suction jig loading.



Efficient Control System
– Control method involves dual-location program control with manual/automatic switching functions, ensuring operational flexibility and convenience.
Optimized Production Capacity
– Designed for a single-shift capacity of 5,000 vehicles on the main and sub-assembly lines, with the adjustment line designed for 10,000 vehicles per shift, ensuring high production efficiency.
Efficient Logistics and Transfer
– The adjustment line uses a wide plate chain, with off-line transfer to painting using electric hoists + jigs + transfer trolleys, and main line to adjustment line transfer using electric hoists + special jigs, ensuring efficient logistics.
Due to advanced equipment, mature technology, and efficient production layout, DUOYUAN company’s welding production line project designed and manufactured for large-scale VAN models has realized multi-model production line production. In order to meet the mass production demand of large van models, the production cost can be significantly reduced for the customer.
