DUOYUAN’s Participation in BYD New Energy Bus Factory Project
In 2017, DUOYUAN had the privilege of participating in the design, manufacturing, and installation of equipment for the welding and assembly lines at the newly established BYD New Energy Bus Factory in the United States. Our workers and engineers traveled to the U.S. to contribute to the entire construction of the factory.
Key Equipment Involved in the Project
The project includes both the welding production line and the final assembly production line. Key equipment involved comprises body frame assembly equipment , skin stretching equipment, floor chain conveyor lines, full-load process trolley , an d tire assist installation robotic arms . The total investment in the BYD New Energy Bus Factory in the United States amounted to $230 million, with the entire project divided into three phases. The first phase began production in 2013, and DUOYUAN’s involvement is in the third phase. Upon completion, this phase marked the factory’s full-scale production commencement.

This project received significant attention from the local government, and DUOYUAN’s equipment was highly praised by the Governor of California. After years of operation, our equipment continues to perform excellently without any issues, demonstrating DUOYUAN’s technical expertise and reliability in the bus manufacturing industry.
