The Shandong white car body welding line is an advanced automated production line that integrates high efficiency, high flexibility, and high intelligence. As a turnkey project, we provided comprehensive services from design, manufacturing, installation, to commissioning, ensuring the smooth implementation of the project. The entire production line covers multiple areas, including body assembly, underbody assembly, side assembly, front and rear frame assembly, and door cover line. It is equipped with advanced conveying systems, robotic welding systems, and electrical control systems. The production line supports multi-model mixed production, capable of random production of various models.

Project Details

Body Assembly Area : This area includes the MB line and the roof line, achieving efficient assembly of the main body.

Underbody Assembly Area : The UB line, combined with high-speed roller bed conveying, utilizes high-speed roller beds for both the main welding line and the underbody line. This ensures fast conveying speed, high stability, and excellent flexibility, meeting the demands of high-volume, high-efficiency production.

Side Assembly Area : Utilizing the EMS and AGV intelligent conveying systems, this area achieves flexible conveying and precise positioning of side components.

Front and Rear Frame Sub-Assembly Area : This area employs a reciprocating rod conveying method, which saves space, offers high stability, strong adaptability, easy maintenance, low noise, and reduced costs. By modifying the control program of the reciprocating rod, flexible production for different models and processes is achieved.

WBS Overhead Conveying Area : Automated conveying with precise positioning and transportation through a control system reduces manual intervention and improves production efficiency.

Adjustment Line : This line includes tooling, rework, and inspection areas, ensuring product quality and fully meeting customer requirements.

Project Highlights

Digitized Welding Process : The workshop is equipped with a digital intelligent central control system, enabling real-time online monitoring of equipment, automatic control of line lighting, fault report statistics, and real-time display of line output and power consumption.

Full Process Automation : From body assembly to underbody, side, and front and rear frames, the entire welding process is highly automated. The flexible combination of high-speed roller beds, reciprocating rods, and AGV systems ensures efficient material flow.

Intelligent Robot Collaboration : The line features 94 robots working in precise coordination to complete welding tasks. These high-speed, high-precision, and highly flexible robotic systems significantly enhance welding quality and production efficiency. Through programmed control, precise tracking of welding paths is achieved, ensuring consistent weld quality. The robots also offer high flexibility and strong adaptability.

Simulation and Virtual Commissioning : Workshop-level line simulation and digital process simulation technology were applied to fully verify and optimize the production line before actual production. This helped identify potential issues in workshop and production line layout planning, providing a reliable scientific basis for production line plans and scheduling. The extensive use of virtual commissioning technology greatly improved line commissioning efficiency and reduced the time to production.

Integration of Advanced Technologies : The project integrates multiple key components, including conveying systems, robotic welding systems, electrical control systems, and virtual simulation. Advanced technologies such as the EMS and AGV intelligent conveying systems and the WBS overhead storage system are extensively used.
