Understand the equipment

How it fits your production.

After the large top frame and skin are positioned on the equipment and the skin is tightened by the hydraulic tensioner, the double-sided single spot welding machine fixed on the gantry frame and the accompanying trolley moves synchronously with the gantry frame and the accompanying trolley and applies pressure to spot weld. A cylinder is installed on each electrode. The cylinder applies pressure to press the skin and the frame between the two electrodes (the pressure is adjustable), and the resistance heat generated by the current flowing through the contact surface of the workpiece and the adjacent area is heated to a melting state, thereby achieving the purpose of welding the workpiece.

FAQ

How does the general assembly fixture hold the workpiece for welding?

A hydraulic tensioner tightens the skin while a gantry-mounted double-sided spot welder moves synchronously to apply pressure.

Can welding pressure be adjusted?

Yes. Each electrode cylinder applies adjustable pressure to press the skin and frame together.
